​UNM HOSPITAL SE HEIGHTS FAMILY HEALTH CENTER: ALBUQUERQUE, NM

​Served as project Manager for the design and implementation of the landscape plan for the UNM Health Center. During the schematic phase, the Asian population were very strong supporters of the project showing up in large numbers during the community meetings. As a gesture of appreciation, UNM’s board of regents asked us to do something to thank the Asian community. The end result was a small garden on the east side of the building that was based on the traditional Vietnamese Gardens which, because of England’s many decades of occupation, their gardens have a very strong English influence.
